Beyond the directive, the union is also working on the file of electronic invoicing which will become mandatory between companies subject to VAT, from September 1, 2026 for large companies and ETIs, and from September 1, 2027 for SMEs and VSEs.

Finally, Travel Companies have not given up on clarifying the terms of the registration obligation. Illegal trade remains an irritating subject for travel operators who are subject to numerous obligations (RCP, financial guarantee) to comply with the rules.
The union continues to discuss within the framework of the simplification bill carried by the government, with the DGE and the DGCCRF. Currently the Tourism Code refers to operators who “sell or offer for sale” trips.
But these terms leave gray areas. “We wanted to return to the previous definition, that before 2018 which referred to operators who “participate in sales, whatever the method of remuneration”. But we never go back. We therefore continue to discuss in co-construction with our contacts at the DGE and the DGCCRF to develop this text. »
