In the vicinity of Munich, we have the opportunity to test the new body design of the masked electric SUV Škoda.

Electric SUV Enyaq Coupe iV is the second independent electric car in the Škoda brand ‘s offer. The front of the B-pillars and the driver’s station are completely identical to the classic Enyaq, the essential one took place at the back. The sloping roof is supposed to give the impression of an attractive coupe, which means that the Mladá Boleslav carmaker is actually entering a completely new segment.

The offer of drives and accumulators copies the standard Enyaq, we will have two sizes of batteries and three performance versions offering rear and all-wheel drive. The technology of masked prototypes hides version 80, ie with the largest battery with a capacity of 82 kWh (usable 77 kWh) and one electric motor on the rear axle, which has a maximum power of 150 kW and 310 newton meters of torque. The Enyaq Coupé accelerates to one hundred in 8.7 seconds and can continue at 160 km / h. Charging with an output of 125 kW is standard for the SUV coupe.

Despite the sloping stern, the new body boasts a luggage compartment with a volume of 570 liters, which is only fifteen liters less than the classic. Thanks to sophisticated aerodynamics, the car has a drag coefficient of only 0.247, so an identically specified SUV coupe should be able to handle 10 to 15 kilometers more on a single charge than the standard Enyaq. The wheels are from nineteen to twenty-one inches and, of course, there are also attractive equipment elements – a glass roof (supplied as standard), a head-up display or a luminous Crystal Face mask.
