We received a new middle class from Samsung – a model Galaxy A52 in a variant with support 5G sewing. He already has us during the performance he was surprised that he offered almost no compromises in his price category. The phone is already on sale, so we are already diligently preparing a review.
The successor to Samsung’s most popular mid-range model has prepared quite a bit. The design refers to the top-of-the-line Galaxy S with its camera layout and color combinations, but still retains its distinctive character. Matt plastic is definitely welcome, as are subtle color variants. Standard black and white are complemented by light blue and purple. The tested blue looks really good.
Super AMOLED, OIS, water resistance and stereo speakers
Under the hood is an eight-core Snapdragon 720G processor complete with Adreno graphics, 6/8 GB RAM and 128/256 GB internal memory with the possibility of expansion with microSD cards up to 1 TB.
In terms of performance, this set should reach an estimated 280,000 points in the AnTuT benchmark, which is enough performance even for playing undemanding games. The choice of Snapdragon is interesting, but not surprising – the Exynos 9611, which is the equivalent of Samsung, achieves lower performance.
We can’t miss the camera either. The main got a resolution of 64 Mpx and optical stabilization. It is complemented by a 12Mpx wide-angle lens and a portrait / macro pair, both identical to 5Mpx. On the front we find a 32Mpx selfie camera.
The cameras do not lack tetra binding technology, which combines adjacent pixels for greater sensitivity to light, or night mode, which combines 12 images into one. Videos can be shot in 4K and you can save your favorite moments directly from the video as 8Mpx photos. We are curious how the Samsung Galaxy A52 camera will pass our test.
Samsung has integrated the fingerprint reader directly into the display panel. The battery has a capacity of 4500 mAh and can be charged with a power of 25W; the manufacturer promises up to two days of endurance, which we will try to verify in practice. This should be aided by an adaptive mode that analyzes the user’s behavior and activates energy savings if necessary.
The icing on the cake is the presence of Dolby Atmos-certified stereo speakers and rich sound delivery. Compared to the previous generation, the performance of the speakers is increased by 43 percent.
The charger is not missing in the package
The big question was how it would be with the charger that came next Galaxy S21 it is missing, however you will find it in the package here (also for the 5G version). A novelty that is no longer very popular with phones today is the support of FM radio (after connecting headphones, which serve as an antenna). It’s a pity that the headphones are not included.
