Habib Rizieq Syihab willing to reconciliation. But he asked the government to stop criminalizing ulama before reconciliation.
“There are screams of reconciliation, how could reconciliation be held if the door to dialogue is not opened. Open the door to dialogue first, then reconciliation. There is no reconciliation without dialogue, dialogue is important,” Rizieq said as broadcast on the YouTube channel Front TV, Wednesday (11/11) / 2020).
According to Rizieq, the government should be happy if criticized. According to Rizieq, criticism from outside parties can be accepted or rejected by the government.
“The critics have a solution to offer. Learn, if the solution is good, accept it. If it is not good, brother, tell where it is not good. Done, there is no need for uproar at the national level,” he said.
He claimed to have offered dialogue to the government since 2017. However, until now, according to Rizieq, the government has not responded.
