Hello, I’m Sascha Becker and you may know me as the presenter of SWR Aktuell Rheinland-Pfalz. I want to hear your story and your opinion on a topic that turned all of our lives upside down in 2020: the corona pandemic.
The whole day was about one topic: Corona
When I think about my personal Corona time, this is what has stuck with me: The Corona period was a hard time for my family and me. First of all, just like for everyone else. Questions like “How do we get through this healthy?”, “Who will look after the children when school and daycare are closed?” arose.

And then something else happened. For the first time in my professional life, I was unable to leave the job outside, I took the seriousness and the heaviness home with me in the evenings. Corona has determined our daily news. Reading background information, talking to experts – the whole day was all about the one topic. And at some point I realized: It’s really weighing on me.
How has your life changed since Corona?
Everyone probably has different things on their mind when they think about the pandemic. What thoughts come to mind? Which decisions were right, which were wrong? What can we as a society learn from this? I would like to talk to you about all of this so that at the end of our documentary “Listened” as many different perspectives on the Corona period as possible can be seen.
