Cantù almost always with his suitcase in hand in this first part of the season. After the trip to Verona last night, in fact, S.Bernardo is expected at the PalaMacchia in Livorno on Sunday at 6pm. And for the team from Brienza it will be the fourth away match in six championship days. After that, Cantù’s calendar – despite the presence of two other midweek rounds in November, the 6th and 13th at home against Avellino and Fortitudo Bologna – will “regularize” until January. There will always be a home-away alternation, a balance that will be broken with the double round at PalaFitLine against Nardò and Orzinuovi on 5 and 12 January.
For Cantù, Sunday’s match will be the second trip to Livorno in the space of a few weeks.
The Tuscan city in fact hosted the Supercoppa Final Four on 21 and 22 September, but in another venue, the PalaModigliani, which saw the success of Fortitudo Bologna. The next day will also offer major challenges, where the match at the PalaCarnera between Udine and Urania Milano stands out, two teams with great ambitions. Juvi Cremona-Orzinuovi is also a key match, although not predictable at the beginning of the season, as are Pesaro-Verona and Rimini-Cividale. All matches will be at 6pm, postponed to 9pm for Rieti-Brindisi.
There will be no live broadcast on RaiSport this day, the next match on TV will be Friday 25th at 8.45pm on the occasion of Cividale-Vigevano.
