This Saturday, May 1, Labor Day, 1,500 people demonstrated in the streets of Dijon. Constrained by strict confinement, no gathering had been possible last year on the same date. This year, the rally was placed under the sign of the convergence of struggles.

“We are here and we will always be there!” Even after a year without a demonstration, for lack of covid and containment, the habits and slogans remain. This Saturday 1is May, it was on Place Wilson that the Dijon protesters met.

“Our freedoms are being denied more and more”

An increase in mobilization compared to 2019

The mobilization was therefore there this Saturday in Dijon. Two years ago, 1,000 people gathered in the streets. They were around 1,500 today.
