“We are going to release pure candela!”

The Dominican musician Maffio invited the Cuban singer Dianelys Alfonso Cartaya, better known as La Diosa, to collaborate with him on a new production.

The composer’s invitation comes a few days after the latest scandal of the interpreter of The 40 Pounds, who accused the promotional company Miami Vice of censorshipafter he had to cancel a presentation in Miami because they dispensed with his services.

La Diosa was scheduled to perform at Host Enrique Santos’ Pool Party, hosted by Miami Vice at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, but without any explanation, the organizers decided to remove her from the collaborating guest list.

This fact occurred, at the same time, just a week after the singer had to cancel what would be her second concert in the United States, which was scheduled in New Jersey, according to her, also because of a campaign against him.

Due to all this situation, La Diosa has been in low spirits, and it was in one of her recent posts on Instagram, where she explained what happened with Miami Vice, that Maffio decided to invite her.

“Enrique Santos, you are a gentleman and I am a witness to that. From day 1 the same. Real!” Maffio said, referring to the fact that Santos decided to cancel the event because of what happened.

In that same comment, she invited La Diosa to record with her, praising her work and openly asking her to collaborate.

“Don’t worry, the one up there doesn’t fail. Your talent is like the sea, and when have you seen a dry sea? Now is when big things are coming (…) Goddess, let’s go to the studio to release pure fire!” wrote the Dominican.

This is not the first time that both musicians have interacted, as the producer was also one of the attendees at La Diosa’s first concert in the US, at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, on April 22.

Maffio wrote to The Goddess at the time, congratulating her on her performance and expressing his admiration for what she achieved on stage, something that the singer herself echoed by way of celebration.
