According to Wardi, the postponement of the ATC event was more related to the tight preparation time. Also, there are internal problems that exist within the management body of the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) as the operator of the Mandalika Circuit.
“For me, this is not the marshal’s fault. Maybe the time is tight, or there are internal problems,” he said.
According to Wardi, the marshals were also underestimated. In fact, he stressed, the marshal should be prioritized and given more facilities. Because, marshal plays an important role in circuit racing.
“Marshal is the essence of racing. If the marshal is bad, the race will automatically not happen. The marshal should be prioritized, privileged, given more than others,” he said.
