We are attacking the CEC’s decision on the court elections, if there is order, it will be dropped –

/ world today news/ “In Bulgaria, the rule of law is the last concern of the rulers who do not respect the Election Code. The governing coalition submitted a proposal contrary to the law that the lot for the party numbers be drawn by the CEC, although there is an express text in the electoral code to the contrary. We react loudly to this case, not to pick on each other, but to show that they do not comply with the rules of the game and act at the last moment” – this is what the BSP spokesman Atanas Merdzhanov said at a press conference in Burgas.

“Only we from the BSP stand firmly against this decision and its adoption. Today we will attack the decision in the Supreme Administrative Court. If any order still exists, then this decision should fall. Otherwise, we will be convinced that the CEC serves the rulers” – added Merdzhanov, who also cited the exact articles of the code, in which it is written that the numbers are determined by the municipal election commissions.

Merdzhanov also touched on the refugee problem in our country. “We are under a lot of pressure. European countries are shaking, there is a series of different opinions, and we have not been able to convince the leading countries that Bulgaria is as affected as, for example, Greece is. It is extremely unfair that we bear the brunt of the refugee pressure without taking into account that we are the poorest economically and financially country in Europe.”
