Slovakia is still listed as a red country at the European Center for Disease Control and Prevention (ECDC) traffic lights. In fact, we could be orange in the last two weeks, similar to the Czech Republic or Austria, for example, and we could have significantly looser rules for traveling.
The problem is the incorrect calculation of data on the number of cases and the degree of positivity. The blame for this was admitted by the Public Health Office, which is responsible for sending Slovak data to the European TESSy system, from which the ECDC draws them.
