We are a family wanting a coalition council to keep Mikulcov in office

The chairman of the National Council and the We Are the Family Boris Kollár asked the coalition partners to convene an extraordinary coalition council. The only item on the agenda should be the issue of the retention of the Minister of the Interior, Roman Mikulec (OĽANO) and the Police President, Petr Kovařík.

This was stated by the Minister of Labor Milan Krajniak (We are a family), stating that they have serious reservations. He is convinced that things have gone so far that it can no longer be swept under the rug.

Chairman of the parliamentary group We are a family Peter Pčolinský thinks that Kovařík and Mikulec should resign. Mikulec does not have his trust.

I cannot imagine that this governing coalition, which was elected with the establishment of justice in Slovakia, should proceed in such a way that it will suddenly suddenly sweep things under the rug. We have to end the fact that the opposition is laughing at us, that someone can’t do things in the resort of the interior, “Krajniak underlined.

He also objected to the action of the coalition partners in the extraordinary meeting initiated by the opposition to remove Mikulc from office. He does not think that such an avoidance of opposition is right and that the doubts raised should “stay in the air”.

Pčolinský objects that the coalition partners did not even inform them that they would block the meeting to appeal to Mikulc. He expected the classic course of negotiations. According to him, the partners probably feared the result of the vote of no confidence in Minister Mikulec.

He is convinced that the investigation of cases is rampant. He talks about the need to thoroughly investigate all things. We are a family who wants to explain several issues and we also want to push for that in the coalition.

Pčolinský considers the suspicions to be serious and the silence of the competent authorities unacceptable. “They don’t even need to explain,” he said. Krajniak added that Mikulca did not suspect that he would directly give instructions or frustrate the investigation. However, he feels that this could have happened for many months and has not been thoroughly checked.
