Jakarta (ANTARA) – Storage device company Western Digital launched two solid-state drive (SSD) new product to complete the WD_BLACK product portfolio, which is claimed to provide powerful performance for gamers (gamers).
This launch aims to provide a fast, high-performance storage solution to improve PC and console performance for all gamer worldwide, WD said in an official statement, quoted Wednesday.
“WD_BLACK has a real commitment to its gamer, which is fast and reliable storage, which can help improve their gaming performance,” said WD Executive Vice President and GM Flash Business, Rob Soderbery.

Through three new products launched, the WD_BLACK portfolio already has a variety of solutions supported by flash technology so that every gamer–both beginners and experts-can explore the world of games and get the best experience.
Over the past few years, according to Soderbery, the graphical display and accuracy of the immersive game world has increased, so flash technology is very important for the gaming experience.
Gamer not only do they need more storage capacity, but they also need high speed to be able to enter this rich gaming world and get the gaming experience as expected.
The new WD_BLACK SN750 SE NVMe SSD enables gamers to enhance the experience gaming on their PC or laptop via PCIe Gen4 technology and storage space to store more game.
This DRAM-free internal storage solution uses PCIe Gen4 technology (compatible with PCIe Gen3) and can provide read speeds of up to 3,600MB/s3, with 30 percent less power consumption than its predecessor, so the laptop battery lasts longer.
While the WD_BLACK D30 Game Drive SSD is able to shorten the time loading game because the read speed reaches 900 MB / sec even though it is slim and compact.
Gamers can spend more time playing games without worrying about storage full, as the WD_BLACK D30 provides up to 2TB of capacity to accommodate about 50 game. Designed to be compatible with the latest consoles, this hard drive has a removable mount to place next to the system.
The WD_BLACK SN750 SE NVMe is available at the official Western Digital Store on Shopee and Tokopedia starting August 30, 2021, while the WD_BLACK D30 Game Drive SSD from the end of September is also available at JD.ID.
