WC’s Davenport commits to East Central CC

Warren Central High School football player Gavin Davenport has committed to play at East Central Community College. Davenport made public news on Saturday when he announced the decision on social media.

Davenport is a senior linebacker with 88 assists, 56 solos, one interception, and one touchdown in 2023. He was also named to the All-County and All-District Teams last year and the Vikings finished with a record 9-3.

Davenport’s senior season begins next Friday when WC hosts Clinton High during the Red Carpet Bowl.
