Legal certainty and thus planning ability for companies have finally been created.
St. Pölten (OTS) – “The pending approval of the Energy Cost Subsidy II (EKZ II) by the European Commission was still a major uncertainty factor. It is therefore a great relief that legal certainty has finally been created for the companies,” WBNÖ state chairman WKNÖ President Wolfgang Ecker welcomes the approval of the EKZ II given today by the EU Commission and adds: “The end of the year is already approaching in big steps. This makes timely implementation a major challenge for the companies, the tax advisors and the processing development bank AWS. Everyone now has to pull together to ensure that the energy aid is paid out as quickly and easily as possible.”
WBNÖ director Harald Servus also welcomes the approval of the EKZ II, but notes critically: “With a quicker agreement at the national level, entrepreneurs could have been spared many a sleepless night.” Ultimately, the uncertainty created in this way is damaging to the entire business location also endangers jobs. “We are nevertheless happy that the long-promised support – late but nevertheless – can now be paid out and that the companies thus have planning security,” concluded Servus.
The energy cost subsidy II can be obtained from AWS until December 7th www.aws.at be requested. Pre-registration was necessary for this in advance.
