Chains or winter tires mandatory in mountainous areas in France
All vehicles must now be equipped with snow, all-season tires or hold chains from November 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022 in many mountain municipalities in France, the French government said on its website. Limited reporting apps in France

Pharmacies are now involved in screening people with Covid symptoms
Since November 1, anyone who has had symptoms of the coronavirus for less than six days can take a rapid antigen test at a pharmacy. Pharmacies will thus play an additional role in the fight against Covid-19, even if not all pharmacies offer this service.
Pharmacies were already performing rapid antigen testing for people wishing to travel or attend a mass event. Since November 1, they have also screened people with symptoms of SARS-Cov-2 using rapid antigenic tests. The results of such tests are known within 15 to 30 minutes. Entirely paid for by Inami, these tests will not however result in the issuance of a Covid Safe Ticket.
It is in fact a decision of the health authorities aimed at relieving the workload of general practitioners, who are already in great demand. While the fall illnesses are back, they fear having to test anyone with symptoms of Covid-19.
Entry into force of the TSA in Wallonia
The Walloon government has decided to extend the use of the Covid Safe Ticket (CST) to the whole of Wallonia from this Monday until January 15.

However, this pass is not applicable in public transport, in public services, schools, shops and shopping centers, in the workplace or during events authorized by local authorities.
The CST certifies either the complete vaccination of the carrier, the possession or a negative PCR test of less than 48 hours or a negative antigen test carried out within 24 hours, or a certificate of recovery from Covid- 19 dating from a maximum of 180 days.
