Legend of Manchester United Wayne Rooney amazed by the Manchester City striker Erling Haaland. According to Rooney, Haaland is the best player in the world right now.

Haaland has been enjoying sensational form since signing for Man City from Borussia Dortmund last summer. The young Norwegian bomber has scored 48 goals in just 42 appearances for the Citizens in all competitions.

Haaland still has a big chance to sharpen his stats. Man City after all, still have at least 11 matches before completing 2022/2023.

It can be said that Erling Haaland being the only player who comes close to the score of two iconic players like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo at the peak of their careers. As is well known, Messi and Ronaldo often hit 50 goals a season in the past.
