VIVA – Youth with the initial F (14) was taken away by a 41-year-old widower named Wawan Gunawan. Wawan is known to have been in a relationship for three years with F, as a result of his molestation against a minor, the perpetrator was threatened with imprisonment for 15 years.
Head of West Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Police Commissioner Teuku Arsya Wawan Gunawan, knew F (14) since the age of F was 11 years old. The relationship between the two was quite close until finally Wawan had sex with F at his rented house in the Cengkareng area, West Jakarta.

Wawan knows that F often gets a lack of attention from his biological parents, this is actually used by Wawan’s perpetrators by giving fake affection so he can continue to have sex with the victim.
“He (Wawan) paid attention, so that in the victim a sense of trust would arise,” said Arsya after releasing the case at the West Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters, Friday, August 21, 2020.
Because he had often intercourse with the perpetrator, it arose in Wawan that he wanted to continue to have victims, he finally asked the victim to leave the house.
During police questioning, Wawan promised to marry F as long as he wanted to stay with him, the victim and the perpetrator finally left with a motorcycle belonging to the victim’s parents.
“F together with the perpetrator brought a motorcycle belonging to F’s parents and then the perpetrator took him away from his house,” said Arsya.
Meanwhile, during his flight while carrying the victim, the perpetrator sold the victim’s belongings to meet the necessities of life for both of them. F was taken to move to another area, by the perpetrator to avoid being chased by the police.
“Si F was taken away by the perpetrators in several places including Bekasi and Sukabumi,” he said.
West Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Audie S Latuheru added, Wawan was complained to the police, by F’s parents, because he was known to have molested F.
However, at that time F was very pregnant, so it was agreed that the examination was carried out after giving birth. In fact, Wawan took F instead to several places including Bekasi and Sukabumi.
“They moved from place to place,” he said.
Audie emphasized that the perpetrators were still under criminal charges even though the flight was consensual.
“I need to explain that in child protection law, there is no such thing as love,” said Audie.
