One of the most recent victims was a 53 year old manwhich was beaten by at least two subjects in the aisles of a supermarket in the Bronx last week.

An employee tried to stop the beating, but the attackers were relentless. At one point the video shows the man raising his hands in surrender, but that does nothing to stop the attackers.

Finally, when they are done, the men take the man’s phone and then pour a gallon of oil on the injured man as he cowers on the floor. The motive for the attack is unclear, but it is presumed that the victim was the target.

Residents near Tremont and Webster avenues said they were horrified by the assault and upset that onlookers apparently didn’t use their phones to call police, but rather to record the attack.
