The watermelons became cheaper by 22.6 percent and were traded at BGN 0.50 per kilogram on the exchanges in our country during the week, according to the data in the weekly bulletin of the State Commission for Commodity Exchanges and Markets (DKSBT). The market price index (PIC), which reflects the movement of wholesale food prices in our country, rose by 0.99 percent to 2,089 points during the week. Last week ITC was at the level of 2.079 points. The base level of the ITC – 1,000 points – is from 2005.
The price of the tomatoes from open areas decreases by 0.1 percent to BGN 1.75 per kilogram, per red peppers – by 3.7 percent to BGN 1.87 per kilogram, and the green ones – by 7.5 percent to BGN 1.68 per kilogram. The price of wanto is down by 0.7 percent to BGN 1.08 per kilogram, and ripe onions by 7.9 percent to BGN 1 per kilogram. They are getting more expensive greenhouse cucumbers – by 4.1 percent to BGN 3.14 per kilogram, the potatoes – by 5.2 percent to BGN 1.18 per kilogram, and the carrots – by 7.1 percent to BGN 1.21 per kilogram.
The price of the lemons is higher by 6.5 percent and they are traded at BGN 3.88 per kilogram. The peaches also increase in price – by 10.8 percent to BGN 2.33 per kilogram. They are getting cheaper the grapes – with 7.8 to 2.21 BGN per kilogram, as well as the bananas – by 1.8 percent to BGN 2.70 per kilogram.
Cow’s cheese is minimally down by 0.1 percent to BGN 11.29 per kilogram, a cheese “Vitosha” type by 0.6 percent to BGN 16.79 per kilogram.
Sour milko (3 and over 3 percent fat content) increases in price by 6.4 percent and is bought at BGN 1.30 for a bucket of 400 grams, and fresh milk (3 percent oil content) becomes cheaper by 0.8 percent to BGN 2.27 per liter.
The price of chicken meat rises by 0.3 percent and becomes BGN 6.41 per kilogram, and eggs (size M) – by 3.3 percent and they are available at BGN 0.31 per piece wholesale.
The rice is more expensive by 1.1 percent and is traded at BGN 3.38 per kilogram, and the lens remains unchanged at BGN 4.40 per kilogram. Ripe beans becomes cheaper by 2.4 percent to BGN 4.20 per kilogram.
The sugar becomes cheaper by 2.5 percent and is traded at BGN 1.98 per kilogram. The oil also falls – by 2.3 percent to BGN 2.76 per liter. The price of the type 500 flour increased by 0.6 percent to BGN 1.31 per kilogram. It’s getting more expensive cow butter (packet of 125 grams) – by 3.2 percent to BGN 2.86 per unit.
