Saint-Priest-Bramefant. Water of Youth in Val d’Allier. It is not the proximity of the Allier river that justified the title of the very romantic choreographed recital Au bord de l’Eau given on Monday July 17 as part of the Guérinet festival, but the very unifying theme of water in songs.
The soprano singer Fleur Mino, the guitarist Jérôme Braitman and the dancer Anne-Caroline Okretic offered the public gathered in the shady park a remarkable moment of poetry by putting themselves at the service of Claude Debussy, Valéry Larbaud, Bourvil, Michel Legrand and the very Auvergne Joseph Canteloube.
The Guérinet festival continues until July 22 and will offer many cultural events and shows such as La jalousie du Barbouillé (baroque theatre) today, Wednesday July 19, Pierre et le Loup (Alma Mahler Kammerorchestra) tomorrow, Thursday 20 July, the Mikrokosmos choir (choral choreography show), Friday July 21 and at the end of the festival la Cuisine desauteurs (gourmet theatre) by Jérôme Pouly from the Comédie Française, Saturday July 22 at the Domaine royal de Randan.
