Homeland Story Conference

Books – Muhammad Shaker
The “Water Security and Food Security” session began a short while ago as part of the activities of the second day of the “Story of a Homeland… Between Vision and Achievement” conference, held in the New Administrative Capital, in the presence of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and Dr. Ali El-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade.

At the beginning of the session, the President asked the Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, saying: “People say that Dr. Ali does not control the prices of goods in the market. I hope you will respond?”

The Minister of Supply said: This is due to the influence of social media and social networking sites. They write prices for which God has sent down no authority.

He added: It is true that there are differences in prices, and when the price of onions increased, we took a decision to ban the export of onions, and today onions have begun to decline, and I am responsible to you and to society, rice will begin to decline.”

The activities of the second session of the second day of the “Story of a Homeland” conference began, which began yesterday with the presence and opening of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The second session comes in the presence of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications, and Mr. El-Quseir, Minister of Agriculture.
The Story of a Homeland conference aims to present the achievements of the Egyptian state in all fields, governorates and sectors over the past 9 years, beginning in 2014.
Yesterday, on its first day, the conference proceedings witnessed the holding of a group of sessions on the economic axis, in addition to the opening session.
