Water Main Break Causes Widespread Closures at University of Maryland

A water main break led to widespread closures at the University of Maryland on Monday, as workers hurried to isolate the leak and restore water.

More than two dozen dorms and about 20 other buildings — including libraries, academic buildings and the University Health Center — had no or extremely low water pressure Monday, according to an announcement to the campus community from university officials.
