In Kyiv, as of today, there is an increase in the water level. It is connected with the work of the Kyiv hydroelectric power station.
It is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the statement of the head of the department of hydrological forecasts “Ukrgidromettsentr” State Emergency Service Ilya Perevozchikov on briefing.
“As for Kiev, today we are recording an increase in the water level. But this is due to the technological work of the Kiev hydroelectric power station, so the people of Kiev and residents of the capital, as well as the Kiev region, should not be nervous about this,” Perevozchikov emphasized.
He also noted that the peak of the spring flood on the Dnieper above Kyiv passed on April 17, so now there is a steady decline in the natural flow of the river.
Recall, earlier it became known that the water level in the Dnieper in Kyiv near the Metro bridge yesterday, April 26, rose by 9 centimeters to 9,309 cm.
