watchOS 10.2 and tvOS 17.2 have been released. What’s new

Apple has released watchOS 10.2 and tvOS 17.2 to all users.

watchOS 10.2 has several new features:

▪️ The watch screen automatically displays the name of the content you’re listening to when you’re near a HomePod (2nd generation) or HomePod mini playing Apple Music or podcasts (works with Apple Watch Series 6 and later)

▪️ In Settings you can activate the function of switching watch faces by swiping

▪️ In Settings you can also enable a feature that asks for confirmation when completing a workout

▪️ For most workouts in Fitness+, you can now choose what will be played louder: music or the trainer’s voice

Apple has also fixed an issue where watch faces added in the Watch app on iPhone might not appear on Apple Watch.

To update your Apple Watch, open the app Watch → General → Software Update. The watch must be 50% charged and placed next to the iPhone running iOS 17.2.

tvOS 17.2 introduces an updated Apple TV app, where you can buy movies and TV shows, as well as watch Apple TV+ content. Starting with this version, the company disabled the iTunes TV Shows and iTunes Movies apps.

To download tvOS 17.2, open Settings → System → Software updates.
