The new headset was developed in partnership with the group Sony, promising to present to its customers a true improvement of the technology used in previous models. The glasses will feature two ultra-high resolution monitors and external cameras that enable the so-called “passthrough mode” to enter virtual reality.
In this way, Apple tries to promote an immersive experience, in which users will have access to a 3D version of the brand’s operating system, iOS. The headset will also have eye and hand tracking technology.
How much will Apple’s new glasses cost?
According to the report made by Bloomberg, sunglasses virtual reality aim to generate a differentiated immersive experience. It will feature content developed by Disney for this.
Unfortunately, the value of the new launch Apple may have a hefty price for some Brazilians. According to Reuters, the product will be launched starting at US$3,000, equivalent to around R$15,000.
The expectation is that the new glasses to be released during Apple’s annual spring event.
It is also expected that it will be called “Realidade Pro”. Even with the information released by the American press, neither the multinational nor Disney have publicly expressed themselves on the subject.
