Yes, the annual montage of trailers and commercials is back disguised as a game show in a desperate attempt to hide its true nature. A “Prize” will be released on December 8 to give some rewards as soon as possible among dozens of trailers, commercials and announcements for DLC and expansion cards. But if you decide to watch it all this year, which can often be nearly three hours long, you might at least earn yourself a Steam Deck for your troubles.
As announced on November 30th, Valve is celebrating The Game Awards with a huge Steam Deck giveaway. The Company will give away one hand-held device to one person every minute for the duration of the Game Awards. (No one in history has ever wanted The Game Awards to last this long, until now…) To stand a chance, you’ll need to enter a drawing first, which you can do now, and then watch Game Rewards Through Valve’s Steam.TV site.
