Apple TV + has purchased the rights to Watch the Sound with Mark Ronson, a six-part documentary series that delves into sound creation and the groundbreaking, groundbreaking technology used to shape music.
The project was designed by Oscar-winning producer Morgan Neville (20 foot fame) and is hosted by Mark Ronson, an Oscar, Golden Globe and Grammy Award-winning DJ and artist and producer. Watch the Sound with Mark Ronson premieres July 30, 2021 worldwide on Apple TV +.
The series adheres to an interesting structure as each episode of Watch the Sound follows Ronson as he tells the untold stories behind musical creation and the lengths producers and creators are willing to go to find the perfect sound. Talking with Ronson about music as a cross between art and technology and how this influenced their work are Paul Mccartney, Questlove, The king princess, Dave Grohl, Beastie Boys’ Adrock and Mike D, Charli XCX and more.

At the end of each episode, Ronson will create and unveil a unique piece of original music using revolutionary technology and techniques such as reverb, synth, autotun, drum machines, sampling and distortion. These exclusive looks at Ronson’s process will appeal to fans of the polymath and budding musicians alike.
Watch the Sound with Mark Ronson is produced by Tremolo Productions, with Ronson, Neville, Mark Monroe, Jason Zeldes and Kim Rozenfeld as executive producers.
Ronson is known for his collaborations with artists such as Amy Winehouse, Adele, Lady Gaga, Lily Allen, Robbie Williams, Miley Cyrus and Bruno Mars. He received seven Grammy Awards, including Producer of the Year for L’album de Winehouse Back to Black and two for the Record of the Year singles “Rehab” and “Uptown Funk”.
He received an Oscar, a Golden Globe Award and a Grammy for co-writing the song “Shallow”, performed by Lady Gaga, who also co-wrote it, and Bradley Cooper.
