The head of the regional council confirmed that this year it was decided to give priority to supporting all active teams that compete for promotion or survival, and that have resonance in the region, or that have financial difficulties.
He referred to four local teams that he considered worthy of support, which are Al-Hilal and Zayo, who play on the rise, in addition to Al-Fateh and Al-Arwi.
Al-Rahmouni promised to contribute to supporting other teams in the future, noting that funds will be allocated for this in the next session amounting to about 3 million dirhams, which will be allocated to support sports associations, whether it is related to football, basketball, athletics, women’s teams and other sports.
It should be noted that the agenda of the extraordinary session of the Nador Region Council included eighteen points, which were approved unanimously by all those present. They concerned a number of issues, most notably the approval of the draft program for the development of the Nador region between 2022 and 2027.
