On October 3rd, one of the films of the year, “Joker: Folie à deux,” will be released in cinemas. And you’ll see it before anyone else – together with John Ment from the morning show!
Two Oscars, the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival, two Golden Globes… we could go on and on with the list, but we won’t here, because the following news is much more interesting for you! On October 3rd, “Joker: Folie à deux”, the sequel to the “Joker” blockbuster, which won numerous awards in 2019 and 2020, will be released in German cinemas. And the best part: around 100 Radio Hamburg listeners will be watching the film before the official release together with John Ment from the Radio Hamburg Morning Show in CinemaxX Wandsbek in a specially reserved room – and you can be there!

The doors open on October 2nd at 6 p.m. John Ment from the Radio Hamburg Morning Show will greet you in the hall at around 6:45 p.m. The film starts at around 7:15 p.m. The film ends at around 9:30 p.m.
That’s what “Joker: Folie à deux” is about
The film tells the story of Arthur Fleck in Arkham Asylum awaiting trial for his crimes as the Joker. While he is in conflict with his dual identity, Arthur not only meets his true love, but also discovers the music that has always slumbered within him. In “Joker: Folie À Deux”, Joaquin Phoenix once again takes on the dual role of Arthur Fleck/Joker, for which he won an Oscar®. Oscar® winner Lady Gaga can be seen at his side.
