Al-Marsad newspaper: The official account of the Saudi national team, via the social network “Twitter”, published a video clip of what happened in the team room between the two halves of Argentina’s match at the 2022 World Cup.
The clip featured national coach Hervé Renard criticizing the players’ performances in the first half, especially in putting pressure on Messi, and said: “Open your phones and take pictures with him.”
The manager added: “We’re good at football. Did you see what they did? You didn’t feel the right time to press and win. You didn’t feel like we could go back and equalize. We’re playing comfortably. Please guys, this is a World Cup”.
The Saudi national team achieved a historic victory in the opening match of the World Cup against Argentina, with two goals to one, and won their group.
