President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi went to his sister Algeria this morning to participate in the 31st Arab Summit, which will be held on the first and second day of November in the capital Algiers.
Ambassador Bassam Radi, official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, said that the president’s participation in the Arab summit is part of Egypt’s desire to strengthen the ties of cooperation and brotherhood with all Arab brother countries, and continuously Egypt’s pivotal role in strengthening efforts to promote common action mechanisms for the benefit of all Arab peoples.
The official spokesman added that the Algiers Summit will aim at consultation and coordination between the brother Arab countries regarding efforts to preserve the security and stability of the region and promote Arab interests, especially in light of the multiple challenges that exist at the level. international and regional, above all due to the consequences of the Corona pandemic and the Ukrainian crisis, and the pressures imposed by it, different for the Arab countries.
President Sisi’s program will also include a series of bilateral meetings with his fellow Arab leaders in order to discuss ways to strengthen joint bilateral relations, as well as exchanging views on the latest developments in the regional and international arena.
