For today, ie. Thursday, June 3, SpaceX has another launch of the Falcon 9 rocket. This time, its task is to launch the cargo spacecraft Dragon 2 into space.
As part of the mission, a brand new first stage of the above-mentioned missile will be used. Dragon 2 will transport three tons of supplies to the International Space Station (ISS), but above all the new iROSA photovoltaic panels.
These are extremely light and their declared efficiency is reportedly 30.7% (existing PV panels on the ISS have an efficiency of 14.2%).
