Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi mourned, struck today, Wednesday, by a speech given by the artist Ashraf Abdel-Baqi, in which he described him as “the best companion for his advice on those who are capable of doing the difference,” according to what is heard in a video in which President El-Sisi appeared trying to hold back the tears that Abdel-Baqi’s speech brought from his eyes.
Today, President El-Sisi arrived at the venue for the “Able to Differently” concert, now in its fourth edition, under the slogan “Lena is a place”, at the Manara Congress Center in the Fifth Settlement. The ceremony was attended by Dr Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Dr Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, as well as Nevin Al-Qabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, and a number of state leaders, with guests from abroad, especially Abdullah Abdel-Aali Al-Humaidan, secretary general of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination in the UAE, according to local media.
The “Able to be Different” celebration featured a paragraph with one of the heroes of the determined people and artist Amr Youssef, who said he has been working with determined people officially and before that unofficially since 2014, pointing to what President Sisi is up to for determined people, “what made those heroes feel different.” Fantastic in the street and in society,” adding that the determined people “will travel to France next year to participate in the Paris Olympics,” as he said.
