At least that’s the feeling of Brigitte Dumas, a Quebecer who lives and works in New York. “It remains extremely high and we are talking about a flattening of the curve which requires 2000 hospitalizations per day”, she explains in an interview with LCN.
“People are still very careful, we are not cutting the champagne yet, if I may say so,” she says.
She noticed a certain relaxation, especially because of the good weather. “Summer is coming to New York, it’s 20 degrees and people are automatically slacking off, it seems”
“We are worried about a release, some people will see 540 deaths and think that it goes down and that we can release gradually when this is not the case.”
