Leader Real Madrid started the Clasico with an 8-point bonus over their eternal rival.

Barcelona had traveled to the capital to revive the La Liga brewery.

It started well for the Catalans after a header goal by Danish defender Christensen. Real goalie Loenin was not released.

Real quickly put things in order. After a questionable penalty foul, Vinicius Jr. was allowed to approach from 11 meters. Ter Stegen dived to the right corner, but arrived just too late: 1-1. For Vini it was already his 7th goal in the Clasico.

Halfway through the second half, Barcelona took the lead again, but again Loenin did not look good. He could not control Yamal’s shot, Fermin scored on the rebound.

And again an answer quickly followed from Real. This time Vazquez put the ball in on a pass from Vinicius.
