WATCH: Jérémie Makiese “grabs the high notes very nicely” during the final of the Eurovision Song Contest

“He made us very proud on Thursday,” says VRT commentator Peter Van de Veire. “He is a boy with a lot of charisma, discipline and a very good voice. You can also hear that he is a huge Michael Jackson fan and every time he sings the song differently. As they say in 2022: he nailed it.”

And Makiese will do just that tonight, he stands on stage with an enormous natural and seems to reach his high notes effortlessly. “Filled those nuts very nicely, very smoothly”, responds Van de Veire. Hooverphonic finished 19th last year, it remains to be seen what Jérémie Makiese does tonight.
