The day after Warner Bros. confirmed that the Joker sequel will be released on October 4, 2024, a musical teaser of the upcoming film was released on social media. It was published by none other than Lady Gaga – confirming that he will star alongside Joaquin Phoenix.

The 18-second teaser features a silhouette of the Joker dancing with a gown-clad Gaga as Fred Astaire’s “Cheek to Cheek” plays in the background. The video ends with the Phoenix Joker laughing as the release date of October 4th and the title “Folie a Deux” are revealed.
While nothing official is known about Gaga’s role, her silhouette in the teaser appears to show the outline of a heart tattoo, one of Margot Robbie For the most iconic features of the Harley Quinn character. This follows earlier reports that Lady Gaga could be joining the project as Joker’s girlfriend Harley Quinn. Todd Phillips is also known to be returning as director.
