Reclusive Idris Williams is found slain in his farmhouse. An anonymous caller had previously given the police a hint – but is he also the killer? The murdered man was a passionate amateur photographer and Inspector Mathias is certain that the numerous, mysterious landscape photos contain clues to the perpetrator. The trail leads to a local guild whose chairman seems to know more than he admits.
