Arsenal’s winning goals were scored by Bukayo Saka in the 2nd minute, Martin Odegaard in the 39th minute, Eddie Nketiah in the 47th minute and Gabriel Martinelli in the 71st minute.
Brighton’s goals came from Kaoru Mitoma in the 65th minute and Evan Ferguson in the 77th minute.
After this win, Arsenal increased their points to 43 and kept their lead with Manchester City by 7 points. Brighton are on 24 points.
Arsenal will join Newcastle United on January 3 in the English Premier League. Brighton will host Everton away.
