In 2020, Modris Šterns, a former musician of the group “Līvi”, after a break of 35 years, decided to return to music and form a group. The composition was formed gradually, publishers report. First joined by bassist Roberts Židelis, who previously played in the groups “Gateris” and “Purple Negative”, later by vocalist Norbert Sidorovs, who previously sang in the group “Marlēna”, and then also by the very young but talented drummer Rihards Straume, who actively plays music. also in the group “Nicotines”.

The rehearsals lasted almost a year until the band decided they were ready to record their first mini-album. The album was recorded in the “DFE” studio with producer (Mārtiņš Gailītis), the producer and leader of the group “Double Faced Eels”. While making the recording, the band realized that they needed to play another guitar, so the accompanying guitarist Elvis Ūdris, who had previously played in the groups “Gateris” and “Sv. Bērtuulis Nakts”, was involved. The mini-album, released this week on live and music download platforms, includes five songs.

So far, the group has performed publicly only once, in Pāvilosta, in front of several hundred spectators of the group “Līvi” “Song Festival”.

“We agreed from the beginning that Inde will not be any underground group and will strive for quality and the big stage,” said the group members.

The video of the band’s first published single “Song from a Strange God” was shot in the apartment of the band’s vocalist Norbert Sidorov while partying with friends and fans. The group thanks the friend Madars Polis-Āboliņš from “Rock and Roll Small” for filming and editing the video.

The mini-album was released in collaboration with the music publisher “MicRec”.
