Al-Marsad newspaper: FIFA President Gianni Infantino has responded to the possibility of the Kingdom hosting the 2030 World Cup.
“The decision on the World Cup will be made by the FIFA Council in 2024,” the FIFA president said, regarding hosting the next World Cup in the Kingdom in cooperation with Egypt and Greece.
He added, while hosting the Al-Kass TV Council program, that I hope there will be many candidates.
The FIFA president did not rule out the return of the World Cup to the Middle East, pointing out that the last edition of the World Cup in Qatar was very successful, saying that people had a lot of fun and the Middle East, and I am confident that everyone will be happy to come back here.
