Al-Marsad Sports: Fahd bin Nafel, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Hilal Club, confirmed that his club was the first to negotiate with the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, striker and captain of the first football team at Al-Nasr Club, before he signed for the Al-Nasr club.
Ben Nafel said in press statements on Tuesday evening: “We were the first to negotiate with Ronaldo before the recruitment program, but the ban on registering deals is what stopped us.”
The president of Al Hilal added: “The best is what God has chosen. Praise be to God, we have succeeded in other deals, and the most important thing is achieving championships, not achieving deals.”
