Al Jazeera obtained new scenes, yesterday evening, Monday, of the fourth batch of Israeli detainees being handed over to the International Red Cross in the Gaza Strip by the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
Scenes show Red Cross SUVs lining up on a Gaza street and prisoners being transferred from Qassam vehicles into them.
The batch included 11 Israelis and 6 Thais.
On Monday evening, the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth quoted Israeli officials as saying that Hamas had agreed to include two mothers and nine children in the list of 11 detainees who were released.
In return, in the early hours of Tuesday, the occupation authorities released 30 children and 3 Palestinian female prisoners as part of the fourth batch of the exchange deal.
This list is the fourth batch of Palestinian prisoners to be released from Israeli prisons, according to the humanitarian truce reached by Hamas and Israel in the Gaza Strip, under Qatari-Egyptian-American mediation, which took effect last Friday.
