In Egypt, it was widely spread on social media that an Egyptian worker opened a medical center for the treatment of patients in a koshary store in Suez, under the name of the Mercy Center for Complementary Medicine.
During the past hours, advertisements have spread on social media, calling on Egyptians with chronic diseases to benefit from the medical center’s expertise, according to Cairo 24.
The owner of the center appeared in pictures wearing doctors’ clothes, and in front of him was a model of a skeleton and a medical “stethoscope.”
He pointed out that the center provides a number of therapeutic services, medical prescriptions, and plasma for the treatment of alopecia, knee roughness, vertebrae problems, and the shoulder joint. It also offers stretching exercises, cupping, therapeutic massage, and full body care.
For his part, Dr. Tamer El-Bohey, the head of the Suez Doctors Syndicate, denied that Amel Al-Kushary obtained a medical qualification, or a permit to practice medical activity from the Medical Syndicate, or his membership in the syndicate.
He pointed out that the Syndicate is currently coordinating with the Directorate of Health Affairs in Suez to take the necessary legal measures towards this unaccredited center.
