Saudi national team player Yasser Al-Shahrani reassured fans after getting injured in “Al-Akhdar” match against Argentina yesterday Tuesday that It ended with the victory of the Saudi team, with two goals to one.
Al-Shahrani said, via a clip he posted on Twitter, “I’d like to assure you I’m fine, my business is fine, congratulations on your win and your prayers for me.”
The national team, on the other hand, unveiled something new regarding the condition of its player, Yasser Al-Shahrani, after the serious injury sustained in the match against Argentina, played at the “Lusail” stadium as part of the Qatar 2022 World Cup Group C matches.
The statement indicated that the player, Al-Shahrani, had been transferred to Hamad Medical City following a major blow to the head, chest and abdomen, where his condition was stable.
He indicated that all the necessary medical tests have been carried out and that he will be under observation in the next few hours.
Also present during the player’s examinations was the chairman of the board of directors of the Saudi Football Federation, Yasser Al-Mishal, where he met with hospital medical staff and heard details of the player’s condition, in the presence of General Secretary Ibrahim Al- Qasim and the national team medical staff.
