Watch! A humorous short film “Night Shift” about life during the curfew has been made

The challenges facing the world, as well as Latvia, related to the spread of the Covid-19 virus continue to increase tensions in society, but restrictions on movement are heating up the situation more and more.

At a time when the number of compatriots detained for illegal movement per day is already in the hundreds, director Intars Rešetns offers a humorous short film “Night shift or work remains work”, which tells how different characters try to scheme the usual schemes within a strict “arcade”.

“In preparation for our first feature film, which we are writing together with Zani Zusta and Egils Šņori, we decided to give the people of Latvia a small cut from the upcoming tragicomedy,” says Intars Rešetins, the author, screenwriter and director of the new short film idea.

“To look at a situation from the sidelines, we, artists, often use the means available to us, doing what we do best – creating. I assume that the tasteful humor of the madness we are in at the moment is what can make us a little happy today and prevent us from sinking into an even greater ocean of despair! Let’s stay! ” so Rechetin.

Popular actors Ģirts Krūmiņš, Imants Strads, Jurģis Spulenieks, Gints Andžāns and Sanda Dejus take part in the short film.

The authors of the film strongly urge us to comply with all the requirements of epidemiological safety and not to wander around after a certain time, as well as to be tolerant of each other and, of course, to be vaccinated, so that dramatic situations remain on the screens and not everyday.
