Al-Marsad Newspaper: Dr. Safouq Al-Shammari told the story of a diabetic patient, whose genetic sequencing revealed that she had been taking the wrong medication for 20 years.
He said during an interview with the “Yahla” program broadcast on the Gulf Rotana channel: “When we examined the patient’s genetic sequence, it turned out that the diabetes medicine she is taking is not suitable for her,” noting that most patients use this medicine and call it a sugar regulator, but it is not suitable for the patient’s genes. .
He pointed out that health care has become separated according to the patient, and this leads to avoiding any complications. Pointing out that another medicine was selected for the patient that suits her condition, so that she said that the medicine changed her life.
