Al-Marsad Newspaper: Citizen Basma Al-Maiman recounted the details of her upbringing, her life in exile, and her coexistence in different countries.
She said during an interview with the Saudi channel: “I was born in America, I have 3 brothers and I studied in kindergarten in America.”
He continued: “I finished primary school in Riyadh, then we moved with my father to Pakistan after he was appointed military attaché in Pakistan, and my brothers and I studied in American schools, and I finished middle school, and in the last stage of high school we returned to Riyadh and graduated from Riyadh high school”, indicating that she was taught in English and French and her Arabic was weak.
She explained that the study method in Riyadh was different from the study method in American schools, noting that the Arabization of subjects made it difficult for her to pass this stage, and university options were also limited, and she chose to study the English literature and linguistics.
