WATCH ⟩ Latvian footballers play Moldova in the second match of the EC qualification

The qualification tournament is organized according to the performance of the teams in the UEFA Nations League tournament, with the participants being divided into A, B and C leagues. In its debut season of the UEFA Nations League, the Latvian national team in the C League went to the playoffs for promotion to a higher league, however, they recognized the superiority of Slovakia and remained in the C League.

Roman Kvačov is assisted by coaches Kirils Buravtsevs and Anna Poniatovska, as well as goalkeeping coach Yevgenys Belovs.
